1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 cup Hidden Foods Marinara pasta sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 sandwich rolls (hamburger buns or your preferred type)

Optional: salt, pepper, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions

Prep the rolls:
Slice the sandwich rolls in half and set aside. Optionally, lightly toast them in the oven or on a skillet for extra texture. -
Cook the meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked. Use a spatula to break up the meat into small crumbles. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or Italian seasoning. -
Drain excess fat:
Carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet. -
Add the sauce:
Stir in the Hidden Foods Marinara pasta sauce until the meat is evenly coated. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld. -
Assemble the sandwiches:
Spoon the meat mixture generously onto the bottom half of each roll. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the meat. Top with the other half of the roll. -
Optional melt step:
For extra melty cheese, place assembled sandwiches under a broiler or in a hot oven for 2–3 minutes until the mozzarella softens and begins to bubble. -
Serve:
Serve warm, ideally with a side of salad, roasted vegetables, or chips.
