Cheesy Pasta Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (any shape)

  • 1 cup Hidden Foods Marinara pasta sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 egg

  • Optional: grated Parmesan, chopped fresh basil or parsley, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin or line with silicone or paper muffin cups.

  2. Mix the base:
    In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, Hidden Foods Marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, and the egg. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated and the mixture is well combined. Season with salt, pepper, or Italian herbs if desired.

  3. Fill the muffin tin:
    Spoon the pasta mixture evenly into the prepared muffin cups, pressing down lightly so each cup holds together.

  4. Bake:
    Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the muffins are set. If you like extra cheese on top, sprinkle a little additional mozzarella or Parmesan over each muffin halfway through baking.

  5. Cool and serve:
    Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before removing. Serve warm as a snack, lunch, or kid-friendly dinner.

  6. Optional garnish:
    Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving for added flavor and color.
