8 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or your favorite variety)

4 tbsp butter, softened

4 slices cheddar or mozzarella cheese

1 cup Hidden Foods Marinara pasta sauce, warmed, for dipping

Instructions

Prep the bread:
Lay out the bread slices on a clean surface. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice. Optional: sprinkle a light pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning on the buttered side for extra flavor. -
Assemble the sandwiches:
Place one slice of cheese between two slices of bread, with the buttered sides facing out. Press gently to secure. -
Heat the pan:
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. -
Grill the sandwiches:
Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Press lightly with a spatula for even browning. -
Cut into dippers:
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Slice each sandwich into strips or “dippers” for easy dipping. -
Serve with sauce:
Warm the Hidden Foods Marinara sauce in a small saucepan or microwave. Serve the grilled cheese dippers alongside the sauce for dipping.
