Ingredients

1 lb meatballs (fresh, homemade, or frozen)

2 cups Hidden Foods Marinara pasta sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella

Optional: grated Parmesan, fresh basil, crushed red pepper, garlic, or Italian seasoning
Instructions

Prepare the skillet:
Place a large skillet over medium heat. If using raw fresh meatballs, add a drizzle of oil to prevent sticking. -
Cook or warm the meatballs:

If using raw meatballs: Brown them on all sides for 5–7 minutes until mostly cooked through.

If using frozen or pre-cooked meatballs: Add them directly to the skillet.

Add the sauce:
Pour the Hidden Foods Marinara over the meatballs, turning them to coat. Bring the sauce to a simmer. -
Simmer:
Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and let the meatballs simmer for 15–20 minutes, or until they’re heated through and infused with the sauce. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. -
Add the cheese:
Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly over the top. Cover again and heat for 2–3 minutes, just until the cheese melts and becomes gooey. -
Serve:
Garnish with Parmesan or fresh basil if desired. Serve with pasta, crusty bread, or over rice or zucchini noodles.
